Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all who follow this discussion board. I hope you are all enjoying time with family and good cheer.
By my count it is the 42nd Christmas inmate has spent behind bars.
And the 53rd Christmas missed by the victims.

Re: Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to you Grandfather, I hope Santa is good to you!  One year closer to cm's parole in year 2075?

Re: Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Tim.

No parole for him, so he is not 1 year closer to that.
He is one year closer to death.
I hope he doesn't die in his sleep.
The reason is I want him to have at least a month, where he has been told he is terminal, and knows that death is near.
That will be his opportunity to repent.
I know it is highly unlikely that he would confess and seek forgiveness, but I want him to have that opportunity.

Sorry I missed it! (Blush!) Hope everyone had a safe and merry Christmas. I wish everyone here a very happy and blessed New Year. Be well and safe and enjoy.

I don’t know how long McDonald will be around, obviously longer than he told the court in his mercy petition. I’m surprised his wife is still with him now that fame and fortune have run out and there are no more chances.

Re: Merry Christmas

TP - Don't be surprised his wife is still there. Since the relationship is based on deception and denial, it could last a very long time. As long as he remains incarcerated.
If he were to be released, that might end the relationship very quickly.
They would be forced to deal with everyday issues and problems they have been insulated from while he was inside. Remember his interview  in April 1970 when he complained about his dead wife not organizing the kitchen drawers well enough?
Rumor has it the Maryland townhouse is very messy. He wouldn't last long there.
Also, in spite of his advanced age, he would likely return to his  old ways in skirt chasing, to make up for lost time.
