Re: 2005 Parole Hearing

It doesn't matter what cm or his lawyers think up to try to get hem exonerated.  He isn't going anywhere.  The courts/judges are sick of his futile attempts over 30 years.

I believe you’re right, everyone is sick of his forty years of legal games and manipulation. Add to that, the vast majority view him as a narcissistic monstrous family annihilator. He has run out of options, gimmicks, and opportunities. I believe that in the not to near future, his wife will divorce him. His “cachet” is gone. He is yesterdays news with no hope for future headlines. He may well be a burden to her now.

I wonder if he ever lays awake at night with regrets, or relives the horror of what he did?

I am not at liberty to say what I know at this point BUT I can say that we will soon be hearing

about another attempt for this cold bloodied killer to attempt to be exonerated.  He needs to

get in the real world. It will not work, and he will not give up. I will share more when I can.

Hi OWC.

Hope all is well with you. Anything new to report?

Re: 2005 Parole Hearing

Hi TexasPoet

All is good with me

.I have not heard anything new yet except that Ted Landreth is working on something
and has been for over TWO years now. I think he is reaching out to people who do not
want to talk to him.

Glad all is good with you.

Okay. Landreth the producer? I would think the well for further shows is all dried up. What is left to say? I’m curious to see if there are people who do not want to talk with him, but have changed their minds. And talk about what? I’ve wondered, off and on, if MacDonald through his wife, or others, might try some sort of heart-tugging, sappy video to present to the parole board? I believe one of the Manson family tried that tack. Didn’t work.

Thanks for responding. Stay well and safe.

Re: 2005 Parole Hearing

Yeah, that is the Ted Landreth we know.  Itis me belief base on what a friend told me, is that he

is saying it is a matter of life and death for MacDonald.

Wow! Now I’m curious.

I know you feel and believe as I do; February 16th, 1970 was a matter of life or death for Colette and her baby, Kimberley, and Kristen and they received death. Jeffrey MacDonald deserves the same, however it comes.

Re: 2005 Parole Hearing

According to IMDB.com Ted Landreth hasn't made a documentary since 1989.
Surely he doesn't think this story has legs?
Unless he wants to document Fatal Vision on film?
But that was done almost 40 years ago.
A life and death matter for JRM?  So what?
What if he has 1 year to live? Does that mean we should let him out?
What about 6 months?
What about 3 months?
3 weeks?

Re: 2005 Parole Hearing

Not to change the subject, but I read Fatal Vision when it first came out *coughcoughcough* years ago, and have been fascinated with it ever since.

Just watched “Wilderness” series a few days ago, and was glad to see it did a great job of presenting facts, and was able to show Morris that he wasn’t as accurate as he liked to think.

I tried to access Christina Manewicz’s website but it wasn’t there.  Can someone tell me if it moved?

Thanks!
