Re: The worst "he's innocent" justification - lack of parole request

No character! And you have a short, or convenient memory. Mac tried for a Parole once, and lied about “Factual Evidence”. The parole board didn’t believe him, and turned him down. A brave man would go before the Board, state his case, present facts and evidence and take his chance. A coward hides in the safety of prison where there is no risk of being exposed for what he is, a liar and family annihilator.

What character do you find in someone who brutally murdered his pregnant wife and two helpless daughters, made up a ridiculous story that no one, except a few friends, some supporters, and his new wife believes, and took advantage of the legal system for decades. And Avocat is right, he’s a narcissistic psychopath.

Oh, and he’s not in prison because he “can do it”, he’s there because he has to be there. Tried, convicted, and sentenced. He has had no choice.

Agree with you TP.
Although I am not 100% sure his wife believes he is innocent.
It is possible she is drawn to his notoriety. The excitement of being in the presence of a killer.  And he is a minor celebrity, with a book and TV movie about his life.
There is also the shallow nature of the relationship. You only have to visit a few hours a month.
No waking up to bad breath. Nobody hogging the bathroom.
No need to make decisions together on things big or small.
She doesn't really care about the murders. Never spends time on details of the case.
She makes grand declarations about what an amazing person he is, and how his friends all admire him. And how strong their love is etc.
It is a way of inserting herself into a dramatic situation, and making herself the main spokesperson for it.
If he was ever released and moved into her townhouse she wouldn't last 3 months.
She would kick him out and he would be in a seniors home in Long Island.
