Re: Has MacDonald finally given up?

Yea Mac caught a little turbulence.     He never should have even made any statement without a attorney at the article 32 .   But nothing else really matters at this point.  Don’t see Mac going anywhere and not going to see me debut any groundbreaking news. Red is just a pedestrian at this point

Re: Has MacDonald finally given up?

Too bad Red.
You could have thrown him a party if the parole board released him.
You could have been there with his wife to greet him at the entrance to the facility in Maryland.
You could have been in the background when the TV networks interviewed him. What elation!
40+ years and he is free at last!
Maybe there would be a family BBQ in Long Island and you would get an invite.
You could sip on a beer while he pontificates about his long struggle for freedom.
Wait, I need a kleenex.
I'm starting to tear up.
It is all so emotional...

Re: Has MacDonald finally given up?

The problem is that y’all seem to enjoy that Mac is in jail.   That doesn’t make you better then him.   Even in the joint Mac is respected.   This forum often talks about Mac getting punished in Heaven, but then wishes him Hell on earth.   Either your Cristian people or your not.

Re: Has MacDonald finally given up?

You have it all wrong Red.
I take no pleasure in his suffering.
His suffering is just one of the many sad and painful things about this story.
I don’t waste time thinking about whether I am better than another person.
I just try to do my best. Sometimes I fail.
I dont know if he will be punished in heaven.
But if there is a God, (and I believe there is), he will find a way to comfort the victims and make them whole again.
I can't explain how, because that is beyond my ability to understand.
God will also hold JRM accountable. In a way that was not available to the courts.
I dont know exactly how, or whether it will involve pain or suffering.
But I know there are no legal maneuvers when you stand before God.
There is only the truth.
