Re: The worst "he's innocent" justification - lack of parole request

It certainly is shameful Red.

Just out of curiosity Red, what 5 things do you find the most shameful about this case?

There are many shameful things, so what would be at the top of your list?

Or even the top 3 things.

Shameful because a personal vendetta advanced the case. It was over before pressure was applied by someone who we will not name

Red, I don't care what degree you have or what university you went to. Some of the smartest people I have known had very little formal education.

Your comment that you interned with a prosecutor is an odd thing to say. I am also around 60 years old  and if I had to list my accomplishments, interning (regardless of where) would not make the list.

Re: The worst "he's innocent" justification - lack of parole request

Ok Red, now we are making progress.
So you don't think the most shameful thing about this is that a father, who should be protecting his family, murdered them in a vicious way.

Or that 4 young people lost their lives  and their future, and their children and grandchildren's future as well. Hard to even calculate the damage, it is almost infinite.

But you think the case moving forward is the biggest shame. Worse than those things I listed.

So you think the right outcome would be once the CID and FBI completed their investigations, around 1972, it should have been dropped, and JRM left alone to enjoy the rest of his life.

But it was a vendetta by one person who applied pressure  but you don't want to name him.
Come on Red, we are all friends here. Tell us who.
I assume you mean Freddy.
But it could be Brian Murtagh.
Tell us Red, and then we can explore what pressure was applied and whether it was appropriate.

We’re just having a little fun? Don’t insult the family and the fact that Mac is still in jail. I if was to make a comment like that I’d be pushed offf this Forum. This is a serious crime that Mac has done 40 years for. It needs to be clarified by everyone involved whether the charges are true or false. This includes Mac either taking responsibility or accepting the fact that he may never leave jail. More then anything else, this is a American Tragedy. It’s shameful

No Red, you would not be pushed off the forum for that or even the fact that you are a Biden supporter,

How do I know this?  You apparently think criminals should get a " get out of jail free" ticket.

Everyone has a right to their own beliefs, and you are no exception.

I am not worried, I just thought since you were advocating for a convicted murderer to be set

free, you must be supporting him.

Biden hasn’t done too much right by the people I associate with.  .   Now concerning letting a convictions murderer out, Trump should have let it happen.   Any back story?

Why would you intern with a prosecutor if you were not a law student and what internship would they offer you?  Especially in the early 80s ( based on your stated age. ) What is your BA in? If you are educated and intelligent, why do you write as if you are poorly educated? Education is not a sign of intelligence, it is a sign of accomplishment. Education is important, and I advocate for it, but I have known many educated idiots. So you are from Ohio? What is your connection to Mac?

What do you feel is the difference between a “ vendetta” and a “ a quest for Justice”? Why do you consider Mac the victim of a vendetta?

If you answer nothing else; why are you so disconnected from the victims and the horror of their brutal murders? Is this just a game for you?
