Re: The worst "he's innocent" justification - lack of parole request

Yea if often heard this about her being “tucked in”. .   Not a good sign for Mac, but it does show compassion.    Just another reason to give him a break.

No Red, it did not show compassion.
The tucking in was a psychological defense mechanism by the killer to avoid facing the full impact of his actions.
In other words, a selfish act, done to make himself feel better.
It had no benefit for the victims.
Also, he did it subconsciously. He had a compulsion
to do it, without really thinking about it.
If he had thought about it  he should have realized that drugged out hippy spree killers would not tuck in their victims.

He did not need to put the lights on, beacause he already knew what he was about to see. Let that sink in.

You Misspelled “damn”.  The only hippie murderers were in MacDonald’s sick mind. Mac tried to create a fictional crime scene to protect himself. He failed. Without listing the huge amount of evidence that convicted Mac, I’ll point out, as I have so many times; only the murderer benefited from the dark and silence, and Mac never turned on a light or made a sound. He never cried out.  He supposedly was attacked by intruders, AS HIS WIFE COLETTE CRIED OUT. His wife and daughters were supposedly being attacked, as he was, and he never cried out. No alarm. No anger. No yelling to neighbors for help. NOTHING. And then he loses consciousness. When he awakens; no sound. He doesn’t cry out to his wife and daughters. He doesn’t wail in agony. He doesn’t turn on lights, to see and to render aid. He was an experienced emergency room physician and he NEVER turned on a light! That was the guilty behavior of a vicious murderer. A cold-blooded murder who planned and carried out the brutal murder of his youngest daughter Kristen, just to make sure there were no witnesses.

Red, you’re a game player, a button pusher. You make vague comments, or outrageous claims, or subtle intimations of special knowledge, but you never discuss facts and evidence. You never really engage. Do you have an agenda and if so, what is it? MacDonald is a convicted family annihilator. Tried and convicted. Every court has ruled against him, except for the first speedy trial motion. (The Article 32 hearing merely found there was not enough evidence to proceed. That is why there was no jeopardy attached.)  The last ruling by the Fourth Circuit was scathing. Now, it’s over. Done.

No agenda and no game playing on my end. I said right from the start that I’m not gonna get in any debate about 50 year old evidence.  Obviously I wish things would have worked out better for Mac and his supporters. Alas, it was not meant to be.  So I’ll just follow along, and chime in periodically. Thanks again

Red - If JRM were to get out, and you got invited to a BBQ in Maryland or Long Island and you had the opportunity to really talk to him, what would you say?
Would you tell him, look  I was married once too and i understand how mad they can make you. So I don't blame you for Colette, and Kimberly just got in the way.
But why couldn't you let Kristen live?

Or would you say, come on Mac, did you really think anybody would believe that hippy story?

Or would you just ask him about the hot girls he dated in California and give him a pass on the murders?

Come on Red. Let loose with this.
We are just having fun here right?

Grandfather,

How do you know that Red isn’t a woman? Leads to a different set of questions and conversation with Mac, at the BBQ.

We’re just having a little fun?    Don’t insult the family and the fact that Mac is still in jail.    I if was to make a comment like that I’d be pushed offf  this Forum.   This is a serious crime that Mac has done 40 years for.     It needs to be clarified by everyone involved whether the charges are true or false. This includes Mac either taking responsibility or accepting the fact that he may never leave jail.    More then anything else, this is a American Tragedy.   It’s shameful

Texaspoet - that is true, I didn't think of that.
The questions would be a little different in that case.
