I am 100% sure that Colette did say "Jeff, Jeff why are YOU doing this to me" and that Kimmie yelled "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy".  Every skilled liar always includes some truth in any story he tells...and inmate is a very skilled liar....

Yes! Kudos! Well said. MacMurderer is a liar, sometimes skilled, but not always. Also an admitted thief (drugs and medical supplies) and serial adulterer. I too believe he was an abuser and Collette’s growing strength and independence threatened him and his ego. He is where he belongs!

Bundy's face...that of Scott Peterson...Chris Watts...needless to say, they all send shivers up my spine, but this JM face (and Michael Peterson)...I even had some bad dreams about JM...his face, his eyes, to me look especially mean, cruel.  And I watched the video of that old Dick Cavett show...he's where he belongs for the rest of his life.

You are SO right, especially the eyes. I think there is an arrogance in JM’s eyes, that the others didn’t/don’t have. Bundy was pure evil, so is Watts. MacMurderer has that PLUS arrogance. I wonder if it’s occurred to him that he has been JUST a convicted murderer and a prisoner for almost forty years. Only that! Unless he caves and admits to the parole board that he did it, he’ll die in prison.

That "Dick Cavett Show" interview...believe it was just months after the murder?... he had very abnormal affect.  He was, of course, stating his innocence...and greatly appeared to be loving (posing, grinning, etc.) being on the show. 

I know everyone grieves differently, but come on!  After such a Horror happening, I would expect something along the line of the affect and behavior which innocent men like Adam Walsh, Mark Klaus displayed when Horror entered their lives.  Certainly no grinning...instead, deep soul pain written all over their faces, a look that has never completely disappeared all these years later--of course, of course.

Dick Cavett himself said in an interview that inmate's affect was all wrong.  He said he was very "Bob Hope-like" in his presentations.  Dick C was shocked by how he is asking about his family being viciously slain and inmate is like "hey yeah isn't that something".  Watching that clip gives me chills and it was the watching of that show that turned the tide because inmate's "performance" infuriated Freddy Kassab.

I think Freddy finally SAW and UNDERSTOOD the inconsistencies and bs that inmate had been spewing forth from watching that show.  A truly innocent man would have been begging for help in finding the people who butchered his family.  inmate never mentioned Colette, Kimmie, or Kristy by name and never shed a tear.
